Events
School events bring learning to life and play an important role in shaping our school culture. They provide opportunities for students to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and celebrate their progress. These events also invite families to be actively involved in school life and to share in their child’s achievements and successes.
Our school events include:
- Kindergarten orientation days
- Grandparents Day
- sports carnivals including 3-6 Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country carnivals
- K-2 Sports Fun Days
- open classrooms during Education Week
- school tours
- ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day ceremonies
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions to complement classroom learning and the curriculum
- performances, concerts or school productions including Combined Schools Concert and the St George Performing Arts Music Festival (SPAF)
- fundraising, charity and community events including Colour runs and the Oatley West Public School Community Festival
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.
